Daniel Sams returns to Thunder’s squad for BBL finals

Daniel Sams proves his fitness to make a wild card entry into Sydney Thunder's line up before the BBL finals. Sams was the leading wicket-taker in the previous season and his form was appreciated with his international and Indian Premier League debut last year.

The 28-year-old improved his batting style as well under Delhi Capitals coach Ricky Ponting but unfortunately, he was sidelined because of a concussion and a hand injury and was ruled out of the squad when it mattered the most. His return is yet to be confirmed for the elimination final at Manuka Oval but coach Shane Bond shared that the player is well and would be ready to play soon. Thunder will take on the winner of Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers. Thunder hopes to take its second title after the 2015-16 season.
