Delhi Capitals defeat Sunrisers by 7 runs

Despite Mayank Agarwal's solid performance, SRH managed to reach 137/6 in 20 overs while chasing a goal of 145 runs. For DC, Axar Patel and Anrich Nortje both claimed two wickets. Initially, Manish Pandey and Axar Patel's late comeback helped Delhi reach 144/9 in 20 overs. While everything was going on, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked off two dismissals and Washington Sundar got three wickets for SRH.

The best scorer for SRH was Mayank Agarwal, who made 49. Hyderabad lost Harry Brook on 7 within the Powerplay after a slow start to their 145-run chase.  After David Warner decided to bat first, Sundar struck three times in one over, leaving DC in a state of complete exhaustion. They dropped from 57/2 to 62/5. At the coin toss, Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner made the right choice and chose to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
