Dinesh Karthik and Glenn Maxwell scored half-centuries leading Royal Challengers Bangalore to defeat rival team Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. With this match, RCB secured their 4th win out of six matches they played. They defeated Delhi by 16 runs. On the other hand, this is the third defeat faced by Delhi out of 5 matches.
With 190 as a target, Delhi started off pretty well with Prithvi Shaw and David Warner giving a 50-run opening. As they were batting first, RCB didn’t start out too well as just in the second over, Shardul Thakur dispersed Anuj Rawat for zero. Later, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell walked on the pitch to give good scores. Maxwell was in great form and he gave his side the momentum they deserved with his half-century in 30 deliveries.
