Du Plessis & Rayudu took CSK to a five-wicket win over MI

Finally, the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is back with a bang after a six-month-long delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It got underway at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni put his best foot forward while leading the Chennai Super Kings campaign. He made sure to have a winning start by notching up an extensive five-wicket win over Mumbai Indians, defending champions. With this exceptional win, Dhoni also marked his 100th win as CSK skipper which indeed is a great achievement in itself.

Hunting 163 to win, Rayudu blasted three sixes and six fours in his intense innings.  While Du Plessis scored 58 off 44 balls as Chennai Super Kings frisked home with four balls to spare.
