England brings back Jason Roy and Tom Curran as they face Sri Lanka in Second

Eoin Morgan won the first ODI in a convincing fashion and has opted to chase once again in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. England has called back Jason Roy to the batting order who has recovered from his hamstring injury and Tom Curran would be replacing seamer Chris Woakes in the lineup. Woakes won the Player of the Match award in the first ODI for his 4 of 18 effort in England’s five-wicket win to lead the three-match series by 1-0.

England enjoys a good track record as well at the Kia Oval and has not lost a match since 2015 whereas Sri Lanka has faced defeat four times in their last five visits. In the first match, Sri Lanka had added three debutants to the team with Charith Asalanka, Dhananjaya Lakshan, and Praveen Jayawickrama but they made just 6 runs among themselves and bowled for just three overs. In the second match, only Asalanka has retained his place.
