England overpowers South Africa at first T20I at Bristol

England relishes their 41-run triumph over South Africa in the first T20I at Bristol and Former skipper Eoin Morgan applauded the efforts of pacer Chris Jordan throughout the match. He played a big role in propelling the England team to win the first T20I match with his “expertise, skill and calm nature.”

Jonny Bairstow’s knock of 90 off 53 balls along with Moeen Ali’s and Dawid Malan’s efforts of 52 off 18 balls and 43 off 23 balls respectively helped England to 234-6. Jordan then defended the target really well and conceded just three and five runs in the last couple of overs. From South Africa’s side, young Tristan Stubbs also looked fierce as he kept the team in the hunt for a win and his powerful knock of 72 off 28 balls in his first T20I match was outstanding.
