After winning the toss England elected to field first, England bowled out Australia for 125 in 20 overs, special credit to Chris Woakes and Chris Jordan, they shared five wickets between them. Woakes took two most dangerous wickets of David Warner and inform Glenn Maxwell, and in between took a superb catch to get Steve Smith out for one. Chris Jordan gave only 17 runs and took 3 wickets. Despite all this skipper Aaron finch kept fighting from one end and scored 44 of 49 balls. He put on 47 runs partnership with Ashton Agar, who made a run-a-ball 20.
In reply, England started solidly, Buttler and Roy put on an opening stand of 66, Roy then gets trapped in front of wickets by Adam Zampa. Jos Buttler scored 71 not out, he smashed 5 fours and 5 sixes in his 32-ball knock to drive England towards a victory target of 126 in just 11.4 overs in Dubai.
