England concluded the T20 series against Australia with a great display of teamwork.
Australia had a dreadful start with Archer and Mark Wood’s deliveries, They were already three wickets down in the first six overs. Archer got David Warner in the first over then Alex Carey went down on Wood’s delivery. Australia was three for two with high pressure. England further dominated the scene with Steve Smith’s run out by Eoin Morgan. Australia still managed to put up a target of 157 for seven.
England also had a rocky start with Jonny Bairstow foolishly hitting his own wicket at the start of the inning, Buttler and Malan together though put forth their match-winning partnership of 87 runs. Buttler was hitting boundaries left and right, at the end when England needed 18 runs to win Moeen smashed Adam Zampa for four and Buttler smashed a match-winning 6 into the pavilion.
