Big Bash League’s Perth Scorchers announced that England pacer Tymal Mills would be joining the side for the new season. Mills has been brought in as a replacement for compatriot Brydon Carse who was ruled out due to an injury recently. Scorchers would hand Mills a debut in their first game of the season against Brisbane Heat on December 8.
Scorchers head coach Adam Voges is excited to see the versatile player in action, Mills has played a key role in England’s squad in the World Cup and even has been one of the outstanding players in the last 12-24 months. The 29-year-old left-arm would play with Perth's talented squad and open their BBL 11 campaign at Optus Stadium soon.
