Eoin Morgan helps Kolkata fight back

Kolkata Knight Riders exposed Punjab King’s weakness and beat the team to fight back in the Indian Premier League 2021. It could be a turning point for Knights as they slumped to 17-3 against Punjab at first but did not buckle under the pressure with Morgan and Rahul Tripathi working together to post a 66 run partnership and lifted the team from the bottom of the table and won by five wickets with 20 balls left to spare in their chase for 124.

Though their openers still didn’t help much as Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana fell early building pressure on the middle order. KKR needs to revamp their squad by improving their batting powerplay and could find themselves making it into playoffs this season.
