Former England captain Michael Vaughan to Make Five Changes for the Third test

England was thrashed by 317 runs in Chennai last week which made Michael Vaughan draw the conclusion that the team must make five changes for the third test. Despite an amazing 227 run win in the series opener, Joe Root’s side was brought down to earth in the second test after bowling out for 134 and 164 on a spin-friendly pitch.

The tourists will be eager to respond in the third test, starting 24 Feb, and have been asked to make a number of changes by the former captain Vaughan. The ex- England batsman is hopeful of bringing in batsmen Jonny Bairstow and Zak Crawley for Dan Lawrence and Rory Burns and bowlers Jofra Archer, James Anderson, and Dom Bess for Olly Stone, Stuart Broad, and the absent Moeen Ali.
