This win, securing them 16 points from 11 matches, tied them with Royal Challengers Bengaluru but elevated them to first place with a superior Net Run Rate of 0.793. Rahul Tewatia and Gerald Coetzee were instrumental in Gujarat's triumph, successfully chasing down 15 runs in the final over bowled by Deepak Chahar. 

Mumbai Indians, after a challenging innings resulting in 155 runs, were thwarted by Gujarat's resilient bowling performance. Rain interruptions punctuated the game, reducing Gujarat's target to 147 runs in 19 overs. With this victory, Gujarat Titans are on the verge of securing a playoff spot, while Mumbai Indians must win their remaining matches to stay in contention for the top-four spots.
