Gujarat Titans thrash Lucknow Super Giants by 56 runs

Gujarat Titans defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 56 runs in Match 51 of IPL 2023. Despite Quinton de Kock's innings of 79 runs off 41 balls, Lucknow was only able to reach 171/7 in 20 overs while attempting to reach a target of 228 runs. Mohit Sharma, who took four wickets for GT, was in excellent form at the time. LSG skipper Krunal Pandya first chose to bowl after winning the toss. Thanks to the outstanding batting of openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill, GT easily cruised to 227/2 in 20 overs. In just 23 balls, Wriddhiman scored 54 runs, including four fours and three sixes. 

While this was happening, Gill smashed an undefeated 94 runs off 51 deliveries, including two fours and seven sixes. Both Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan claimed a wicket for the LSG bowling unit.
