Gujarat Titans whip Lucknow Super Giants in their IPL debut

Gujarat Titans rode on splendid speed bowling by Mohammad Shami as they began their mission in IPL 2022 on a triumphant note, beating Lucknow Super Giants by five wickets in a conflict between two debutants whose destiny was chosen in the initial five overs. Shami sent back Lucknow captain and his Indian colleague KL Rahul for a brilliant duck and afterwards guaranteed two additional wickets with hardly a pause in between for figures of 3-0-10-3 in his first spell.
