Hayden lashes out at Australian players in Pakistan for missing a white-ball leg

Matthew Hayden, a former Australian hitter and Pakistan batting consultant, is dissatisfied with Australian players who have prioritized the Indian Premier League (IPL) above the white ball match against Pakistan. Pat Cummins, Australia's Test skipper, Josh Hazelwood, and David Warner were left out of the ODI and T20I squads for their much-anticipated trip to Pakistan. All of these players would rather play in the Indian Premier League, which is taking place at the same time as the limited-overs series against Pakistan.

The star players prioritized the IPL over the Pakistan tour. At the same time, national team selector George Bailey announced that none of the players will be able to join the IPL before April 6. Without the IPL's quarantine protocol, the players would have missed additional matches. Hayden expressed concern for the players who chose a franchise event over international duty and should be held accountable.
