Head coach Gautam Gambhir led the way as Team India reached Sri Lanka

As Team India arrived in Sri Lanka on Monday evening (July 22) for the white-ball series, which begins with the three-match T20I series on July 27, Gautam Gambhir stole the show for all the right reasons. When the Indian cricket team departed the Colombo airport, the recently appointed head coach of that country led the way. Instagram was used by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board to post pictures of India's arrival.

The Indian players traveled for two hours by bus from Colombo to Pallekele, the site of their three Twenty20 International matches. The R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo will host the opening day of the ODIs on August 2. A video of the players' departure and arrival was also released by the BCCI. To begin their adventure in Sri Lanka, the Indian players will have a three-hour practice session on Tuesday afternoon. It is anticipated that every member of the T20I team would be present for the practice.
