Hetmyer fifty eclipsed by another big defeat at the hands of India

A Shimron Hetmyer’s 50 did practically nothing to prevent one more discouraging outcome for West Indies who imploded to an 88-run rout to India in the last Twenty20 International. The five-match T20I series has come to an end with this match with India winning the series by 4-1. West Indies were playing to save face at Central Broward County Park Stadium but they were excused for a terrible 100 in the sixteenth over in the quest for 189. Hetmyer’s comeback with a top score of 56 from 35 balls gave the team some home but the rest of the side fell quickly.

Leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi played a fundamental role in taking apart the WI lineup with four for 16. While Left-arm spinners Kuldeep Yadav (3-12) and Axar Patel (3-15) blew away the rest of the innings easily.
