Virat Kohli, a former Indian captain who was inactive throughout the ODI series against Zimbabwe, maintained his fifth-place ranking with 744 rating points. Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, who also had a break during the series against Zimbabwe, remained in place six.

Shikhar Dhawan, an experienced batsman who also had a respectable performance against the Southern African country (154 runs in three matches), fell to 12th in the most recent rankings despite striking two half-centuries in the first and third games, respectively.
