ICC T20 World Cup 2021: India will play England and Australia in warm-up games

Before facing Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup, India will play two warm-up games against England and Australia. Virat Kohli and his team will begin their campaign against their arch-rivals, but they will face two strong opponents before that.

The BCCI had previously selected India's World Cup squad, which consisted of 15 men. A number of cricketers, including Shikhar Dhawan and Yuzvendra Chahal, were unexpectedly dropped from the roster. While the batting order is unsurprising, Shikhar Dhawan is the major name to miss, and his absence was on expected lines. Ishan Kishan replaces Sanju Samson as Rishabh Pant's back-up wicketkeeper in the 15-man squad, while Shreyas Iyer is selected among the standbys. Shardul Thakur, who was expected to be picked to the team, is also on the standby’s list.
