In a last ball thriller bottom dwellers beat RCB

Sunrisers Hyderabad stayed within reach throughout the whole match and in the end stole a win from right under the noses of Royal Challengers Bangalore with four runs on Wednesday. The Premier League match though would not truly affect the standings of the team, RCB has still qualified for the playoffs while SRH would not. Bhuvneshwar Kumar sealed the win in the end defending six runs off the last bowl with AB de Villiers on the other side at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Kane Williamson-led Hyderabad did play their penultimate match of the season with a nail-biting win over Virat Kohli's Bangalore. RCB was chasing a score of 142, Glenn Maxwell’s knock of 40 off 25 balls had kept the team within reach but the next to nothing contribution of Kohli (5) and Dan Christian (1) build a lot of pressure on the middle order. Even after having De Villiers and George Garton on the field, they could not ensure their second-placed finish this season.
