India and England prepare for the third test match which may very well define their fate for WTC. For India if they lost either of the next two matches they would lose out on the chance to qualify for WTC and England faces a similar situation after giving up their lead to level it at 1-1 after the second test, the best chance for them was the day-night Test in Ahmedabad but it doesn’t seem to be working out in their favor, India’s strategy to score big and let the bowlers take the lead may not work this time as England had not let their batsmen dominate the show.
Jasprit Bumrah would be back in the squad after missing one test match and would be working alongside Ishant Sharma, with R Ashwin and Axar Patel and England would have Jonny Bairstow alongside Joe Root, and James Anderson would be joining the squad after being rested for Test 2.
