Suryakumar Yadav and bowlers played a big role for the Indian team as they record a seven-wicket win against West Indies in the third T20I at Warner Park in St. Kitts and Nevis. Yadav’s knock of 76 off 44 balls along with Rishabh Pant’s 26-ball 33 powered Team India to reach their 165 target in just 19 overs itself as the team is now just one more win away from winning the five-match T20I series.
While West Indies was sent to bat first, Indian blowers put on a good show and restricted the side to just 165 runs in 20 overs. Brandon King and Kyle Mayers put up a 57-run stand before Hardik Pandya broke the partnership forcing Nicholas Pooran to join Mayers, while another 50-run partnership brewed for the second wicket Bhuvneshwar Kumar then removed both the player in back-to-back overs, and the team could just stitch together 164 later. India in return had a 105-run partnership for the opening wicket before Pant and Deepak Hooda guided the side to a win.
