India heading to the penultimate day of Test 4 were taken aback after Ravi Shastri along with three support staff tested positive for Covid 19 and were isolated as per protocols. But India’s batting lineup then put the scary news behind them to post 466 runs on Day 4 and hand England a target of 367 on the final day of the match.
Currently, the series is leveled at 1-1, Rohit Sharma’s century along with half-centuries by Pujara, Rishabh Pant and Shardul Thakur’s tremendous performance posting 60 runs from 72 balls which involved 7 fours and a six pushed India towards a good score. Later on England openers Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed ended the day at Stumps putting up a score of 77 for no loss and cutting the lead to 291 runs.
