India seal ODI series

A sequence of accurate outswingers with an upright seam caused Fabian Allen to fall all over the place, but until the fifth delivery, he was still without a wicket to show. The ball smacked off Allen's pads and onto the stumps after he kept it straight and onto the RHB. Shami made a blow. There was no turning back after that. The Black Caps lost half of their side for just 15 runs when Shami removed Daryl Mitchell with a return catch, with contributions from Mohammed Siraj and Hardik Pandya. 

They struggled to 108 in 34.3 overs before truly recovering. Shami's final score of 3/18 was his highest since January 2020. Even though they haven't had a lot of good days lately, Rohit and Shami managed to keep it together on Saturday so that everyone could understand why they are the athletes that they are.
