India slips in 2nd ODI to lose the series to South Africa

India’s tour of South Africa is not going as well as the Men in Blue would have wanted. The team had lost the Test series by 2-1 against a determined South Africa. Insipid India slipped in the must-win One Day International series as well with the second back-to-back loss which gives Proteas an unassailable 2-0 lead.

Rishabh Pant knock of 85 was not enough to bring back India from the 7 wicket defeat at the Boland Park in Paarl as visitors put on an underwhelming performance and failed to match Quinton de Kock and Janneman Malan’s exceptional level of performance as it seems like India would return home empty-handed after back to back series loses.
