India-Sri Lanka T20Is slated for Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced a five-match T20I series between the India Women’s national team and Sri Lanka Women, scheduled from December 21 to December 30.

The series kicks off with two matches hosted at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, followed by the final three games played at Thiruvananthapuram’s Greenfield International Stadium. This upcoming series marks India’s return to the format since their impressive 3-2 victory over England in July. Conversely, Sri Lanka enters the contest having not played T20Is since March, where they drew a series against New Zealand.

The specific schedule is set as follows: Visakhapatnam hosts games on December 21 and 23, while Thiruvananthapuram hosts the remaining fixtures on December 26, 28, and 30. Both these skilled squads aim to end the year strongly in this bilateral contest, promising fans thrilling cricketing action across these two southern venues.
