India’s 15-man squad announced by BCCI for WTC final

The ICC WTC final is scheduled to start on 18th June in Southampton, where India would take on New Zealand to get their hands on the trophy. In the 15 man squad released by BCCI. veteran Rohit Sharma, skipper Virat Kohli, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane and batsman Cheteshwar Pujara were assumed to be part of the team while youngster Shubman Gill, all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin would also be part of the team that takes New Zealand soon.

Bowling team includes Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Umesh Yadav. And they would be joined by wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant with Wriddhiman Saha serving as his backup. Notable omissions from the squad are Mayank Agarwal, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thardul, Axar Patel, and KL Rahul.
