Injury troubles continue to hurt India

The India Cricket Team is still facing injury issues. KL Rahul, the star batsman, will not play in the third Test between India and England in Rajkot. KL Rahul's quad strain kept him out of the last Test. Despite being included in the team, KL Rahul is not fully healthy to participate in the match. Rahul's replacement on the team will be Devdutt Padikkal.

At one point in the Test series, India and England are still tied. Following a quad injury in the Hyderabad Test, KL Rahul was unable to participate in the Vizag Test. KL Rahul is not totally fit to continue for the squad, even if there was a break between the second and third Tests. Conversely, Ravindra Jadeja, another injured player, has made a full recovery. KL Rahul's absence will now be a big issue for the Indian cricket team. There isn't a Virat Kohli in the current squad.
