Delhi Capitals closed in on their second consecutive win this season of Indian Premier League against Chennai Super Kings by winning the match by 44 runs
DC put forth a target of 175 for three to chase and managed to restrict CSK at 131 for seven. With Prithvi Shaw striking a half-century as well a 94-run opening partnership with Shikhar Dhawan helped put up the huge target. Striking against Deepak Chahar, Shaw dominated the game facing Piyush Chawla and Ravindra Jadeja as well, with Jadeja going wicketless in his four overs and giving 44 runs. Though later both struck out as Chawla was intent on destroying the partnership. CSK only managed to reach 131 in 20 overs with Faf du Plessis 43 runs off 35 balls, Kedar Jadhav 26 off 21and others fell down quite easily as well.
