Ireland and SA battle the World Cup Super League points

The first ODI between South Africa and Ireland was washed out by the uninvited guest for 40.2 overs raising doubts about the successful completing of the series. Though both sides had plenty to offer, it was blurry through the raindrops but still was open to commentary on future prospect analysis like the Super League. 

Ireland’s William Porterfield, Balbirnie, Harry Tector, Mark Adair made clear of their team ability while Andile Phehlukwayo and Lungi Ngidi were throwing punches from the other end. George Dockrell fits to challenge South African Kyle Verreynne and Quinton de Kock while the comeback of de Kock and Anrich Nortje can strengthen the latter. Hence, with the stats in place, it will be interested to anticipate the changes in the ranking order as the ODI series continues. The next ODI on Tuesday will throw light on both run-rate handling and interesting strategies of the opposing teams.
