Ireland is set to have a busy summer this year with India, New Zealand, South Africa, and Afghanistan white-ball series set to take place at home. While the busy fixtures gives the team a sense of relief who is yet to play a Test match after the three-year drought. The Zimbabwe tour included Test matches as well which was set to soothe Ireland until the tour was postponed. Cricket Ireland has finalized the date for India, New Zealand, and South Africa series while the dates and venues for the Afghanistan series are yet to be confirmed.
With three ODIs and 12 T20Is already confirmed it would be a record amount of men’s international cricket matches for Ireland in a single summer. India would visit the country for two T20Is then New Zealand would visit for three ODIs and three T20Is in July and South Africa tour would take place in August at Bristol.
