Ravindra Jadeja performed exceptionally well for Chennai Supers Kings in their match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, who seemed in form this season with four back-to-back wins. CSK though challenged the team and won by 69 runs in the end with Jadeja’s powerful play in the last over, where he smashed a record-equalling 37 runs to finish 62 off 28 and later went 3-13 as well in the Indian Premier League match in Mumbai.
Jadeja powered the team from 154-4 to 191-4 at the end of their inning, putting up a huge target for Royal Challengers Bangalore by beating Harshal Patel in the last over. Bangalore later could not cope up against Chennai’s bowlers and slumped to 122-9. Chennai Super Kings later joined RCB at the top of the table with four wins.
