Jasprit Bumrah, the captain of India, disclosed that he knew everything from watching cricket on TV and never had any official instruction as a child. I began playing cricket really late. He told Fox Cricket, "I wasn't a tearaway quick because I didn't play cricket at six or seven."
"I think I began playing cricket with a season ball when I was sixteen or seventeen." So I picked up cricket and watched the TV. I had never received any official coaching. “So I learned everything through the television and, you know, somehow picked up cues and kept on finding my own solutions. So that’s worked with me till date that, you know, I come into a setup. I rely on my own instincts and gut. So yeah, that’s how I picked up.”
