Joe Root is eyeing an IPL maiden season next year

The cash-rich Indian premier league has not just been a popular league in India but even in the international community as well. With the tournament said to include 10 teams from next year onwards, while the team has not yet been confirmed Joe Root the famous England Test captain is set to throw his hat in the ring when the auction begins for the next season.

Previously the player had entered the auction but did not attract any bid. In the next edition, there would be 16 more slots for the overseas player which does making his chances of getting selected high. England test skipper even went on to say that he would want to be a part of an IPL season before he hangs his shoes for good, he would love to have the experience to participate in one of the biggest domestic T20 leagues.
