Shikhar Dhawan’s second century of IPL could not help Delhi Capital as Kings XI Punjab grabbed the win with a thrilling performance in the Northern Derby of IPL. Dhawan became the first player to have back-to-back centuries record in the IPL. Dhawan’s efforts were undone by KXIP’s Nicholas Pooran with his 53 off 28 balls that featured six boundaries and three sixes, later James Neesham and Deepak Hooda carried the team to the much-needed win after they chased the target of 165 successfully in 19 overs and won by five wickets, Glenn Maxwell contributed 32 off 24 with a 69 run partnership with Pooran that helped KXIP win. With another win, KXIP climbs to fifth place on the IPL scoresheet.
