Kings XI Punjab criticized for choosing Pooran over Mayank Agarwal

This year’s IPL season was already hyped enough due to the current situation, now every move of the squad is under the radar, just the second game of the season Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals match dragged on to a super over which DC won after putting in staggering efforts.

XI though faces heavy criticism for not sending Mayank Agarwal for super over, Mayank had been in great form, carried the team from 55-5 and scored 89 off 60 balls, to tie the score at 157-8, but captain KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran were sent in to face the heat of super over and they ended up making just 2 runs and blew their wicket. The decision to choose Pooran in such a high-pressure situation proved unsuccessful as he was dismissed for a duck by Ravichandran Ashwin earlier in the game. To choose Pooran over the match’s top run-scorer, has opened XI to criticism.
