KKR beat CSK by 6 wickets

In order to defeat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets and go to the IPL 2023 play-offs, Kolkata Knight Riders' batsmen Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh put on yet another brilliant display. As KKR successfully chased down the 145-run goal with 9 balls remaining, both hitters smashed fifty-run innings. Moeen Ali's powerful smash caused Rinku to go out for 54 (43), but Rana came back undefeated at 57 from 44 balls.

After Deepak Chahar's early punches reduced KKR to 33/3 in 4.3 overs, the pair put up 99 runs for the fourth wicket. In his three overs, the seamer dismissed Jason Roy for 12(15), Venkatesh Iyer for 9, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz for 1. Earlier, after choosing to bat, KKR restricted CSK to 144/6 in 20 overs with the aid of Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine. Each of the two spinners claimed two wickets, while Narine only allowed 15 runs to be scored in his four overs.
