Australian pacer James Pattinson had entered into a three-year contract with Melbourne Renegades back in 2020 but in the final year of the contract, the pacer has pulled out of the deal with Big Bash League (BBL) franchise. Both the parties mutually parted way as the fast bowler has conveyed he would be available for the upcoming 12th edition of the Big Bash League this year as he is taking some time off from the sport to devote time to his family.
Pattinson had retired from the international cricket last year after being regarded as one of the key Test bowlers for Australia for a decade. The 32-year-old also served some time with domestic and county cricket teams Victoria and Nottinghamshire and now takes a step back after serving his duties.
