Rajasthan Royals started their inning well, they did not lose a wicket during the powerplay but still posted just 171 for 4 an easy enough target for Mumbai to chase and return to winning ways. The defending champions did not start the season in the same dominant fashion they did last year but seem to have found their footing now with a great performance by Quinton de Knock and his unbeaten 70.
Royals had Jos Buttler at 41 and looked strong at 91-2 at 9.5 overs, Sanju Samson posted 42 off 27 balls and Rahul Chahar finished 2-33 while Mumbai Indians completed the chase with 9 balls to spare had Krunal Pandya to than as well for his 39 runs, Chris Morris finished 2-33 as well same as Chahar.
