Mumbai Indians defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets

At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday, the Mumbai Indians defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets thanks to an all-around strong performance led by Trent Boult and Rohit Sharma.

With statistics of 4/26, Trent Boult set the tone with the ball. He removed Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, the threatening opening duo, in the powerplay and even hit twice in the last overs, taking out Pat Cummins and Abhinav Manohar. Rohit Sharma spearheaded the five-time winners' batting attack throughout the chase, scoring a brilliant 70 runs in 46 balls with eight boundaries and three maximums to guarantee Mumbai's swift completion of the chase. Rohit was removed by Eshan Malinga, but Suryakumar Yadav ended the chase with 4.2 overs remaining, making it essentially a formality.
