Mumbai Indians IPL 2021 squad

Indian Premier League is about to kick off with its14th edition this year which is scheduled to begin in April and here is how the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) have placed themselves this season to defend their fifth title.

The Rohit Sharma-led team stayed on top for most of the last season and ultimately claimed one more win by beating the Daredevils in the finale in UAE. It is hard to believe that the team did not win any IPL trophies until 2012. This season they have made the new addition of Piyush Chawla, the wrist-spinner is the third-highest wicket-taker in the history of the IPL which would boost their bowling attack further, they have also acquired overseas players Adam Milne, Nathan Coulter-Nile, and Jimmy Neesham. Their power squad already includes Rohit, Quinton de Kock, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah. MI still remains the favourite this season.
