New Zealand abandoned Pakistan tour, raises doubts over England’s trip as well

England and Pakistan are set to meet for the Twenty20 internationals in Pakistan but after, the fact that Black Caps abandoned their tour of the country over security concerns, raises doubts whether England would go through as planned. The country would give a statement within the next 48 hours.

New Zealand was all set to play Pakistan on Friday for the one-day internationals in Rawalpindi then a Twenty20 series was also scheduled on the calendar which would have taken place in Lahore after the three-match ODI series. But the team went back on their commitments over security issues before the first match itself. England was all set to visit the country on October 13th and 14th. The exact reasons for abandonment hasn't been revealed yet.
