The New Zealand and Netherlands cricket board has decided to prepone the second T20I between the two sides to August 5. Earlier the two sides were set to meet for the second T20I on August 6 but after New Zealand's flight schedule underwent a change, the two sides decided to make changes to the schedule. New Zealand is set to tour West Indies for three T20Is and as many ODIs from the 10th of August after the Netherlands’ tour.
The two T20Is would thus be played back to back now on the 4th and 5th of August as Black Caps continue on their lengthy tour of Europe which started in May. They have already played against England and have played three ODIs with Ireland as well. The Kiwis will take on Scotland for two T20Is and an ODI before they start the Netherlands tour.
