New Zealand released the squad for WTC Final against India

A 15 member squad would be playing against India in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship Final at Ageas Bowl in Southampton. From the 20 players touring squad that was selected for the England series five players- Doug Bracewell, Jacob Duffy, Daryl Mitchell, Rachin Ravindra, and Mitchell Santner have been dropped and would be traveling back to the country.

The Final match would start on 18th June, Black Caps captain Kane Williamson who was injured during the England Test series would return to play against India. Other members of the squad are Tom Blundell, who would be the back-up wicket-keeper, Trent Boult, Devon Conway who debuted against England with a double century, all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme, Matt Henry, Kyle Jamieson, Tom Latham, Henry Nicholls, Specialist Spinner Ajaz Patel, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor, Neil Wagner, BJ Watling, Specialist Batting cover Will Young.
