New Zealand seal an early win in first T20 against Bangladesh

Devon Conway posted an undefeated 92 run stand with 11 fours and three sixes, and a 105 run partnership with Will Young (53) helped New Zealand seal a T20 win early by 66 runs against Bangladesh in Hamilton on Sunday. Ish Sodhi also powered their bowling attempt with a four-wicket haul that helped New Zealand win the opening match after posting an impressive 210 after winning the toss and electing to bat. Bangladesh was limited to 144 runs in 20 overs with Sodhi on 4-28.

New Zealand was without Kane Williamson and Trent Boult who was rested for IPL, giving the young players a chance to show their caliber. Though despite the win New Zealand’s Finn Allen debut left many disappointed when he was bowled early.
