Pakistan is all set to take on West Indies in the Cricket World Cup Super League matches in the coming days. But the initial venue for the series, which was Rawalpindi has been changed to Multan with just a few days to go before the series kicks off on June 8. The other two ODIs would be played on respectively on June 10 and 12. The outcomes of the series would also affect the Cricket World Cup Super League Table as well.
Since it is summertime in Pakistan, temperatures are set to soar high in the city in Southern Punjab thus all matches are scheduled for 4 pm local time. This West Indies series was earlier postponed in December of last year due to the Covid outbreak in the West Indies camp after Pakistan had slumped the side in T20I with 3-0 but could not continue the ODI series which will take place now.
