Pakistan bowled out West Indies for 123 to win the first Test match

After Pakistan set a goal of 251 on a spinning field, West Indies was bowled out for 123. Sajid Khan grabbed nine wickets in the match, and Jomel Warrican of the West Indies hit a seven. Khan finished with 5-50 after taking four wickets in his opening innings.

Earlier, West Indies' left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican (7-32) ripped down Pakistan's batting order, dismissing them for 157 as they started day three at 109-3. Off-spinner Khan, however, claimed four of the first five wickets as the tourists faltered to 54-5 during the first session, undermining their hopes of winning. For the second time in the match, Khan took out Mikyle Louis, Keacy Carty, Kavem Hodge, and Kraigg Brathwaite. Pakistan and the West Indies are ranked eighth and ninth in the World Test Championship standings, respectively. The second Test, will be the last for both teams in this World Test Championship cycle, and it starts on Friday at the same venue.
