Pakistan swept past West Indies by taking them down three times in a row in the three-match series. Pakistan even completed their highest Twenty20 international run-chase to win by seven-wicket in Karachi. Pakistan was chasing a target of 208, and the 158 opening pair partnership by Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam helped them achieve the target in 18.5 overs.
Rizwan knocked 87 off 45 balls while Azam scored 79 runs as well, in the match that was set to be postponed after five members tested positive on Thursday. This is Pakistan’s seventh 3-0 whitewash in Twenty20 international cricket. Later Asif Ali posts 21 not out to seal the win with two sixes and as many fours against West Indies.
