Pakistan crushed Bangladesh by 8 wickets

With an eight-wicket triumph over Bangladesh in the second T20I match in Dhaka, Pakistan took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. With an efficient effort, their bowlers did the brunt of the work, reducing the home side to 108 for 7. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan each got two wickets, with Mohammad Wasim Jr and Haris Rauf providing strong support in the dying overs.

The total was reached in 18.1 overs for Pakistan. For the second wicket, Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman contributed 85 runs, ending their partnership when Pakistan just needed 12 runs to win. Fakhar made 57 off 51 balls to remain unbeaten, while Rizwan made 39 off 45. Pakistan had an easy chase thanks to their bowlers' performance in shutting down the home team. Bangladesh was 64 for 3 at the midway point of their innings and only scored 44 for the loss of four wickets in their final ten overs.
