Pakistan crushed Zimbabwe in 1st ODI

Chasing a challenging target of 282, Zimbabwe’s openers fell quite early to Afridi’s pacers as he sent the players early  Brian Chari (2) and skipper Chamu Chibhabha (13). Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi and Wahab Riaz’s four-wicket blow help Pakistan seize the 1st ODI win by beating Zimbabwe by 26 runs as part of three-match series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Even with Pakistan’s deadly bowling Craig Ervine and Brendan Taylor struck a 71-run partnership and then Sean Williams departed early as well with single-digit runs, Thereafter Wesley Madhevere and Taylor built a 119-run partnership to close the gap towards the target but one by one wicket fell to Pakistan’s clever bowling until the whole squad was bundled out at 255 in 49.4 overs.
